San Miquel’s real name is Miquel van Gemert, born March 6th 1985 in Eindhoven (The Netherlands). As a young man Miquel always was interested in all kinds of music. He was always listening to music as it’s being a part of his life. From recording the dutch top 40 charts in his bedroom with his half broken tapedeck till driving around wit hit around the neighbourhood with his “My First Sony” portable tapedeck attached to his so called racing bike…

Later on Miquel gets fimiliar with the Thunderdome hardcore collection cd’s. He was buying these albums with the very little money he had. Back in those days he was wearing classic “Australian” sportsoutfit and he was totally in love with the music!
2002 was the year he got in touch with hardstyle for the very first time. His first party was in a local club in Eindhoven, since then San Miquel knew that hardstyle was his future…

Dreaming of performing for a big audience, Miquel was visiting all bigger parties (DefQon, Decibel, Qlimax) where he enjoyed great artists like Zany and The Prophet. Since then Miquel knew what he wanted: “I want to see the crowd enjoy the beats I’m providing them form behind the decks”

Since the beginning of 2010 San Miquel has his own production studio. He’s very busy creating his own sounds…. Getting things ready for his own releases.

A few gigs San Miquel already crushed: The Qontinent (BE), Last World Festival (BE), Hardstyle Mania and Strangerz. There’s a whole lot more to come, so be sure checking him out ASAP!
